Point Dume

Hey!
So last Friday, I took a short trip in the early AM to Point Dume with my two friends Amy and Shelby. It was so much fun! We went on an adventurous hike around the area and found a few secret caves and coves! : D

And of course I brought my camera to document to adventure. There were a few events that occurred that didnt get to be photographed because they were too dangerous. LITERALLY : P We went astray from the path to the stairway down to the beach, and we took a little shortcut/detour. ;)
We hiked down the mountain (barefoot) through tiny spaces with rocks and branches. It was really quite the adrenaline rush! Especially with my precious camera going along for the ride. It stayed in PERFECT condition. Not a bit of damage to any pert of it!  : D Just a little bit of sea mist on the lens cover. : P
Anyways so I might as well start posting photos in the order of which they were taken!

Our view from the parking lot of some early morning rock climbers off the largest cliff in the area.

Right at the beginning of the trail, this beautiful home is hidden behind these unusual trees looking out onto the ocean.

 Looking down from the cliff at the water and rocks below....that would be a painful landing.

The waves hitting the shore...also a view from the top of the cliff.

A little further down the marked trail, I looked down and saw a lady walking her dogs and they were sooo cute I HAD to take a photo!

I found this little guy looking for some food and I had a hard time trying to capture a still photo of him that was still in focus. I did a good job huh? : P

Those previous photos were a series oh some random surfer catching a wave and almost falling off at the very end. 

Dead lobster washed up on the shore.

Amy and I at the cave...we went inside. It smelled soooo bad and there was trash everywhere! It was a deep cave! It went on so long Amy and I only went in a couple of feet because of the overwhelming smell.

Abandoned boat on the shore. It looks like the absolute perfect spot to take photos! AND IT WAS!

Lastly on the hike back to the parking lot, we found the infamous California Poppy! Such a pretty flower!

Well that was my expedition to Point Dume last Friday! I wanted to save my favorite picture for last, there was a flock of Pelicans flying by and I felt so proud when I captured this lone bird flying swiftly over the ocean : D 

Night Light

Herro!

About a month ago my siblings and I went to Chuck E Cheese. (Yes we still go there : P) We played and played and got a bunch of tickets so we could take home a "delightful" prize, of course.

After about an hour and a half, we acquired a fiber optic lamp. (See picture below) Well we kind of forgot about it for a while, and today I was messing around and came across it. I came up with this brilliant (to me) idea of taking photos of it in a pitch black setting. 

With that idea, I went along and did it. Here are some of the best ones.

This was the very first photo i took with the lights out...Don't worry! It gets MUCH better ; D

 On this one, (above) my focus was aimed more towards the middle of the bunch.

In these ones, I tried to see how it would look while the fiber strings(?) were moving. I think they turned out pretty nice. Looks like blue smoke if you ask me....mysterious xD

 This one looks like a bunch of shooting stars or a water fountain Vegas would have : P ^

 I thought this one was pretty cool, it looks like there are little mini tornadoes on each tip V

In this one, I feel like I took a picture of some planet from space xP hahaha V

The Pup

Hey again!
So this is day 2 of my brand new blog : D
Anyways, I was just chillin around my house today with my puppy Kissy, being bored. I have an obsession with this dog, it's kind of crazy. So I was laying down when I saw that he went around looking SO DARN ADORABLE, I knew that I really needed to capture his cute lil face on camera.
Kissy is a very tough subject to catch on film cuz he is constantly moving! But these one's can definitely prove otherwise : P
ENJOY! : D

As you may have noticed by now, Kissy really enjoys lounging around in baskets of clean laundry :P What a cutie pie! : D

I was sitting in my backyard a few days ago just enjoying the sun, doing what I do best, listening to music. I saw all the beautiful flowers I had in my backyard and I HAD to capture them on film. Here are a few of my favorites : D
